Install and Configure Sintelix Media Server

The Sintelix Media Server helps the audio transcription process.

To install the media server:

1. Log in to My Sintelix and navigate to Installers > Add-ons > Audio Transcription >  Request Add-on. A support ticket is sent to Sintelix, then you will be sent the installation file via email.
2. When received, download it, run the MediaServerInstaller.exe, and follow the set-up instructions.
3. Open the Media Processing server application.

   The default URL of the Media Processing Server is localhost:8084. The port number can be changed during the installation process.

4. Click Edit Server Configuration.
5. Do the following on the Media Processing Server Configuration page:
   1. From the Transcriber Selection dropdown, select one of the following options:
      • Azure Speech Public Cloud Transcriber
      • Speechmatics options...
      • No Transcription Generation

1. Enter the server configuration options.

   Enter the subscription key or IP address to configure connection to the server.

   A transcription service, Azure Speech Service or Speechmatics Batch Appliance, must be separately supplied.

2. Click Update.

   The server status displays the successful completion of the procedure.
