Install Language Pipeline Plugin

You can install a Language Plugin to support Entity Extraction for that language.

The Language Plugin is only required to support Entity Extraction for Standard Entity Extraction mode.

For Enhanced Entity Extraction, the Language pipelines are installed with the capability. Enhanced Entity Extraction needs to be installed and requires compatible GPUs.

If you reinstall Sintelix you will need to reinstall the plugins as well.

1. Download a language plugin

Download the plugin for the language:

  1. Log in to MySintelix and navigate to Download > Multilingual Plugins
  2. Select a language plugin installer in accordance with the operating system your Sintelix instance is installed on.

    For example, if your Sintelix is installed on Linux, select the archive installer, and if it is on Windows, select the .exe installer

2. Install the plugin
  • If you reinstall Sintelix, you need to reinstall the plugins as well.
  • The plugin you select to install depends on the Operating System your Sintelix is on.
  1. Double the .exe installer file to run it
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions
  1. Locate and open the WEB-INF folder of your Sintelix installation
  2. Stop the web server
  3. Extract the language plugin archive file and extract the resources and lib folders to the Sintelix WEB-INF folder
  4. Restart the web server
3. Configure the plugin

Once the plugin is installed, you can configure how the languages are applied during ingestion. See the Ingestion configuration, specifically Language detection and Using language-specific custom processing configurations for details.
