New Feature: Load Structured Data for delimited, fixed width, Excel, JSON files and database connections.
  • New method to ingest structured data directly into Sintelix documents and networks, including support for unstructured data held in structured fields.

  • Supports ingestion of delimited files like CSV (comma-separated), TSV (tab-separated), Excel and fixed width files formats.

  • Supports ingestion of complex JSON structured files.

  • Supports ingestion using database connectors, e.g. Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2 and Oracle OCI (license and new open JDBC database drivers are required).

  • Ability to load, transform and filter data, as well as customise document content and network/link creation, using Structured Data configurations that do not require Entity Extraction Scripts.

New Feature: Geospatial Data File Ingestion and Map enhancements
  • Ability to ingest geodata files like Shape Files (SHP), KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, GeoTIFF and GPX.

  • Geodata shapes (routes, areas and images) are displayed on a dedicated layer on Document maps and Network Graph maps.

  • Updated base-map and adjusted default map zoom levels.

  • Added an option to connect to a custom raster map server via System Settings (contact Sintelix support for assistance to setup an off-line map server).

  • Added Geoshape Catalogs in Configurations to store Geodata that can used in area searches and on maps.

New Feature: Network Tables – Nested View of Neighbours and Search Suggestions
  • Added ability to drill-down from a selected node to display a nested network table of neighbour nodes.

  • Search suggestions added to Network Table and Network Search string fields (non-tokenised only).

New Feature: Network Expansion - Link Aggregation
  • New Network Expansion configuration option to aggregate links between nodes.

  • Link Aggregation can be performed using Link Count, Link Strength and Neighbour Overlap.

Improvement: Network Graph
  • Ability to filter or remove links using strength values.

  • Ability to show shared neighbours when two or more nodes are selected.

  • Ability to show links for off-screen (hidden) nodes.

  • Hierarchy view now supports arrangement using directional links.

Improvement: Timeline
  • Added options to select a range to display and automatically advance the selection along the timeline, including support for dynamically updating the related map.
