Network Expansion
What is a Network
A Network Expansion expands an existing Network. A Network Expansion clusters an existing Network to generate new nodes and links to provide further insights.
The are two types of Network Expansions:
-
Custom - need to create a configuration to define the expansion.
-
Default - they are pre-configured and can be run without modification. You can refine the configuration to suit your requirements.
Custom Expansions
The Custom Expansions include:
-
Link Aggregation - groups links to create a new aggregated link that includes a calculated strength, count or neighbours in common.
Default Network Expansions
The Default Network Expansions include:
-
Community Detection - by examining the links to identify a similar network of neighbours. It does not detect friendship or organisation alignment.
-
Topics by Key Phrases by grouping key phrases
